4 days...

It's almost the Christmas holidays and I am holding on by a thread. I REALLY need a vacation cause the kids are getting on my last few nerves. I know that people always complain that teachers have so many days off but we really deserve them for all the crap we have to deal with throughout the year.
Anyway today, at lunch, is our English staff (we are anti-French teachers) Christmas party and we all have to bring a secret Santa gift. It has to be either a gift that you received that is super ugly or something funny. Luckily yesterday I got three gifts from my students and one was pretty gross looking so I am re-gifting that. It came with chocolates so I am assuming it's to put chocolates in but it looks more like a candle holder to me. Oh well, by lunch time today it won't be mine anymore and I'll have a new 'ugly' gift...yay!
Other than that I am waiting for Christmas and to see Katie (she arrives on the 26th). Also my friends Emily and Jeremie got engaged Sunday night so we am super happy for them and we are going out for dinner with them tonight to hear all the details.
That's it for now.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Sorry for the lack of updates once again (especially to Ema cause you are doing such a good job at updating yours....I want to be just like you when I grow up!).
Well nothing is overly new. Two weeks minus one day until Christmas vacation. The kids are SUPER hyper and the teachers are SUPER cranky. I finally chose a craft for each class and started preparing my Christmas activity books. These two weeks will be dedicated to Christmas things since the kids don't want to work anyway (neither do I)!
Actually my grade 5 class received letters from their penpals in Coquitlam, BC last week and they are in the process of writing back. It's super cute cause they've asked all sorts of questions about Canada and have tried to describe France to them.
This past weekend we were at Steve's parents place and we decorated the tree and their apartment. This coming weekend we will be in Clermont-Ferrand (center of France) to see all of Steve's friends and the weekend after we are back at Steve's parents to celebrate Christmas. Then Katie and Tom arrive on the 26th! I can't wait!
Oh Steve found a job already. He had an interview today at AXA insurance to work in their call centre and he starts tomorrow. Yay Steve!
That's it....gotta go do my Christmas cards!
