Oh no, I think that I am turning into a Parisian!

Ok well, I've finally got some news.
First, my picture on my blog is currently out of order until my brother's computer is fixed cause it is stored in his files.

About the title of this blog, I realized that I am starting to become more and more Parisian everyday. I now push my way onto the metro when it's full and I NEVER say excuse me or sorry! I push to get a spot on the bus and I WON'T give it up to some old lady or man or to a pregnant or disabled person either (I know it's mean but this is what life in Paris has come to). I use to be the first to get up and give my spot away and I use to get pushed in every direction so that people can make their way onto metros or buses first but now I won't allow it anymore. I have to defend myself. I eat baguettes in the metro on my way to work. I eat dinner at 7:30 or 8 every night. I work from 8 to 6 like every other Parisian. I yell when there is a accident on the roads cause then I am stuck in traffic (no more sympathy). I look down when walking so that I don't step in dog poop. I hate tourists cause they don't understand the metro system and cannot speak French. BASICALLY, when I get back to Canada, I am going to be a rude bitch!
I can't help it cause I have to adapt to survive in this crazy city. I hope you all understand....

Other news, I met the author that wrote 'Et si c'était vrai..' my favourite book right now. In English it's called 'Just like Heaven' and there was a movie version of it with Reese Witherspoon. He also wrote 'Vous revoir' and 'Où es-tu?' (I don't know if those were ever in Canada). Anyway he was at Virgin (like HMV) on the Champs Elysees so I went there on Thursday night to get my book signed and I also got a picture with him! Stève didn't want to come but decided to stay and meet me there since he spent the day in Paris so that we could take the metro and bus back together. So, while I was at work (until 6) he was walking around the 5 floors of Virgin looking for Christmas presents. WELL, he happened to meet two people from Star Academy (my favourite show). He got to see Ely and Emilie the two girls that got voted out in the semi-final last Friday. He got their autographs for me. By the time I got there, they were gone. I was so sad! I still got to see Marc Levy though which was exciting!

The Star Academy final is this Friday and I am so sad that it's going to be over soon. What will I watch everynight now?

That's it for now. I will blog again soon!

So, are you a true Parisian and do not shave? And try to cover up your eau de BO with an insane amount of your favourite Yves Rochers purfume?

Must be nice to hang out with the rich and famous in Paris!

    A bientot,

    Emily
