Yo soy tu papa
I am trying to keep up with my posts so that I get in the routine of posting something each week cause when I am in France, this will be the best way for you all to find out what is going on in my life.
Well, these past two weeks have been quite hectic. I got my contract on Monday of last week and then I was going to get serious and start looking for flights and getting my visa papers together. Unfortunately I got some sad news on Tuesday which led to me attending a funeral and a visitation on Thursday and Friday. I worked all weekend so those days are just write-offs.
Yesterday, Monday, I wanted to book my flight but my money hadn't gone through to my credit card so I was super stressed that I might not get the flight I want. Anyway today I got up at 8am, the money had come through and I booked my ticket. Originally I was given a price of $1400 by Travel Cuts for a student ticket and I ended up paying $668 (plus $5 per extra kilo which will be about $120) with Flyzoom. I am so happy. So, I will be leaving August 19th 2005 and returning May 6th 2006.
Other than that, I am quitting today at Citibank, which is going to be hard. If all goes well, my last day will be August 14th. I need to get my visa papers done but I need to find medical insurance first....any ideas people?
Guess that's it. I will try to blog more often!
