What a wonderful FHC Fiesta

Yesterday was Israel's fiesta in Delhi at the FHC headquarters. It was loads of fun. I enjoyed seeing everyone again and it's the last time I see some of my friends for a year....so sad. The party was a celebration for everything: graduation, jobs, Birthdays an an engagement!!!
Other news, Brad, Jessie and Teresa came to visit from Waterloo on Friday. I tried to make Sarnia as fun as possible...very hard to do! But, I had fun! I will be going to Waterloo on Aug 11th for Kelly Clarkson!!

So, my departure date is approaching quickly. I'll be gone soon and back to living with the frogs (j/k Steve!!!). The house will be a lot quieter with a lot less complaining (sorry mom! - you know you'll miss it!).
I have my visa appointment booked for August 17th and I have tons to do before then. I am done work on the 14th so I will pack after that!
My scrapbook has been keeping me very busy.....it's gonna be awesome!
That's it!

Yo soy tu papa

I am trying to keep up with my posts so that I get in the routine of posting something each week cause when I am in France, this will be the best way for you all to find out what is going on in my life.
Well, these past two weeks have been quite hectic. I got my contract on Monday of last week and then I was going to get serious and start looking for flights and getting my visa papers together. Unfortunately I got some sad news on Tuesday which led to me attending a funeral and a visitation on Thursday and Friday. I worked all weekend so those days are just write-offs.
Yesterday, Monday, I wanted to book my flight but my money hadn't gone through to my credit card so I was super stressed that I might not get the flight I want. Anyway today I got up at 8am, the money had come through and I booked my ticket. Originally I was given a price of $1400 by Travel Cuts for a student ticket and I ended up paying $668 (plus $5 per extra kilo which will be about $120) with Flyzoom. I am so happy. So, I will be leaving August 19th 2005 and returning May 6th 2006.
Other than that, I am quitting today at Citibank, which is going to be hard. If all goes well, my last day will be August 14th. I need to get my visa papers done but I need to find medical insurance first....any ideas people?
Guess that's it. I will try to blog more often!

It's 10:00pm, time for the kids to go to bed!!!!

Sorry for the lack of updates. Let's see, what's new....
My mom and I went to Montreal last week from Monday to Friday. I got new shoes, a purse and a skirt. We had a good trip until the end when a family fight broke out.....enough said!
I've been working only weekends at Citi which is ok cause I have a lot of stuff to do before I go. I want to figure out if I can get a visa from France so that way I can leave before September.
I have an appointment with the allergist tomorrow for allergy testing...fun times! It's a two hour appointment and I get to be picked by many needles. My mommy is coming with me!!!
Other than that, just getting anxious to leave. I want a vacation and I want to see Steve!

Century of Terror

Sad day for London, England today. There are some nasty people out there. Hope all you guys that I met last year are ok and that you, your families and friends are safe.
Wow, it's been a while since I've updated. I was very busy this month considering that Stève was here. We went to Niagara Falls, London, Toronto and Wonderland. Also I've been working quite a bit. Luckily in July I work mostly weekends so I have some time to get some other work done.
My mom and I are going to Montreal on Monday until Friday to visit the family. I am taking off to France soon (not sure when yet....I am waiting for my contract) so it's my chance to see everyone before I go.
I got the names of the two schools that I will be working at: Collège Valmy and Collège la Grange aux Belles (they are like junior highschools...fun times). Sounds pretty eh?
That's it!
