Too often we give children answers to remember rather than problems to solve (Teacher's quote of the day)

I haven’t blogged for a while…..so sorry (especially to Adam). Anyway, quick update:
-Still teaching my Monday night class to adults
-Still working at Citibank (all the good people are gone- 28 people got fired on Sunday- not me tho!!)
-I am now tutoring twin boys (grade 3) every Monday night before my night class
-Still going to school --- all of my projects are due in the next three weeks and exams are coming up!!!! (I am done class on March 11th and then I have Practicum and Seminars for the last month and a half so school is almost done!)
-Got my wisdom teeth out on Thursday Feb. 10th in Sarnia
-Stève was here all week (Feb.12-Feb.20) and we were very productive:
-I went to a few classes during the week and Stève got some of his school work done
-We went to Sarnia on Tuesday to see Mme Kennifick for a reference, to go to a doctor’s appointment and to visit the family
-We went to Waterloo on Wednesday (to celebrate Allison’s Birthday) and got to see Allison, Tony, Brad and Nikki
-We went to a fancy diner with Dana, Mark (Dana’s boyfriend), Reena and some people from Dana’s adult class on Thursday
-I had my first observation day at for my last Practicum (grade 7 French Immersion) on Friday
-We went out for coffee with Emily (a girl from work) on Saturday
I just got back from driving Stève to the airport today (Sunday). Boohoo! It was a long drive back to London (I was suppose to go to Sarnia but the weather is crappy)
I get my stitches out tomorrow morning!!!!
Finally, I AM OFF TO FRANCE IN THREE WEEKS!!!!!!

Sorry for the lack of updates. This past week has been pretty insane. Ok so last Friday I went out with my friends from work for Renee and Nick’s last day. We went to Old Chicago’s. We had lots of fun and partied hard. On Saturday I worked from 9-5 (hard day) and in the evening I went out with all 4 of my roomies. We went to Molly Bloom’s and then the Barking Frog….good times! Sunday I should spent the day getting all of my work done but it was a slow process. This Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I’ve spent the days at school, the evenings at work and the nights doing essays. I am finally all caught up and I actually have tomorrow (Friday) off of school. I only work 5-9…sweet! By the way, my Monday night class was insane this week because I taught the adults the verbs ‘avoir’ and ‘être’ which was way too hard for them to comprehend.
As for other news, I get my wisdom teeth out next Thursday (Feb. 10) and Stève arrives in 9 days!!!!!!! YAY!!!
