You've got me dancing and crying......(dedicated to Rach)

Well, it’s officially begun…….hell week! Last Friday I went to Ingersoll for my second and last observation day. I finally met my associate teacher and yes, she is crazy. She reminded me of the Energizer rabbit cause she never stopped moving. She’s approx. 60+ years, wears wigs, she has make-up caked on her face and she is super weird. Is this my future? Overall, the day was horrible. The night before one of the IDCI students died in a car accident so Friday was long and emotional……and work sucked (I had to wait for the bus in the dark while it was pouring rain…what a way to end the day…luckily I had my cell and could talk to my mommy while waiting!). On Saturday I worked 9-5. Lisa picked me up and I came home, lay on the couch and went to bed. I think I am burnt out. Today I went for groceries at 11, talked to Stève at noon and now I am working on several projects (that’s why I am procrastination by writing a blog). I also got to talk to Rachael on msn! YAY!!!!! I miss you Rach! Actually, I am done my media and computers assignments so it’s going well. One more week of this semester….thank God! Three weeks at IDCI and then the much needed CHRISTMAS VACATION!! I hope I make it.....

Our teacher looks like she came out of the trash

It's time for an update! Ok so last Friday I went to Ingersoll for my first 'observation day' (we only have two and then we teach for three weeks straight). Apparently my associate teacher is a psycho biatch but I wouldn't know since she called in sick.....that's right she called in sick the day that I was there! What a whore! So anyway I will meet her this Friday, I guess! So considering that Tali was a mega huge biatch too about the car situation, I got a ride to Ingersoll with a girl named Burcu (pronounced Berzu). It takes 50 mins to get there and she took all these little side roads. Anyway enough about that.
Things at Althouse (teacher's college) are crazy. It's a zoo around here. We have two weeks left of this semester cause then we teach for three weeks and then we have the Christmas break. I have a presentation, a test, two projects due and two finals exams coming up. Good luck Maika! Did I mention that I hate teacher's college? All of my friends and I sit around at lunch and bitch about this damn school! The teachers suck, the courses suck more and if it weren't for friends and the cash we put into this, we would have all quite a long time ago!
Anyway as for the social life, we had a party at our place on Saturday. It was quite the event. Sunday was hard....enough said! Um, I am officially one of the nerds at school cause there are 6 of us that have Spanish and French as teachables and we all sit together and speak different languages so we have named ourselves the 'Franco-hispanic' club. haha! Actually I have made quite a few friends although I didn't want to come here.....and of course I have the bestest roomates ever! Yay me!
As for work, it still sucks. Luckily, Israel (a member of the Franco-hispanic club), the guy who got me the job is there to keep me sane. When in Practicum, we basically are at work to bitch and when at school, he drives me to work and we bitch all the way there and at work too....haha! Most nights Lisa picks me up, which is cool cause I hate taking the bus at night with all of the crazys downtown.
Other than that, I wish it was Christmas already. I hope I make it until then!
Only 24 days until Steve arrives.....I can't wait!

Ain't it good to be alive?

My sincere apologies for not updating this blog more frequently. Even Adam who is working SO hard finds time to update his blog and I on the other hand who am in school and working shouldn't be so lazy as to not update this blog more often. Get the point?
Ok so I have been told to update but I don't have anything to say. School and work are my life. I go to Ingersoll this Friday for my first 'observation day'. Apparently it takes 45 mins to get there and I have to be there at 7:45 so I guess that I will be up at 5:30. Other than that, I have two huge exams at the end of November so I need to start studying but I am too busy with other projects and with work to worry about them now. My mom, dad and Adam came to London on Saturday so we went out for supper at Red Lobster after work. That's the only excitement for the time being.

What? Did you say no frames? Grrrrrrrr

Ok here's the update mom. So, Friday was my graduation. I got a lot of flowers.....thank you everyone! I was happy cause I got to see my family (except Tali cause she was 'too busy') and friends....even Mariesette was there! Everything was fine until the very end when they ran out of frames, closed the alumni card booth early and my friends ditched me for my after-grad party. Oh well. Overall I will have good memories cause we had fun and just think......we get to do it all over again in June!!!!
Saturday I worked from 9-5 and after that I got ready to go out in my witch costume. I went to Dana's first, then a pre-party and then the teacher's college party at elephant and castle. It was loads of fun and I won't ever forget it.....except for the parts that I can't remember! haha!
Sunday was the day of rest. I tried to sleep all day and I succeeded nicely. I got up for about 6 hours and watched "Mona Lisa Smile" and "Beetlejuice" and handed out candy with Lucas.
Monday I went back to school. No more Oakridge :( I miss everyone there so much. My next placement is at Ingersoll DCI in Ingersoll and I am not looking forward to it at all. Over 40 mins to get there and apparently the teacher I have is a real Biatch. Anyway that's in December so I have a month of school first.
Today I went to school, talked to Steve on the phone, went back to school and then went to work. I just got back and I am now talking on msn and looking for info on my upcoming Spanish project.
Boring eh mom?
