Chilling in the S-dot

Today I worked from 7-3 (yesterday too). One shift left to go! I had to say bye to all the people who are not working on Sunday :( Anyway, other than that I was suppose to go to Waterloo today but Adam screwed me over so I am stuck here this weekend. I guess I am not allowed to see my friends cause Adam's are more important! Whatever! So, tonight I went to the casino with my parents. I lost and so did they, but we had fun! I am trying to plan a trip to Wonderland for Wednesday with Allison, Brad, Ema and my friend from France, Jessy and so far so good. Just gotta pray for good weather and that everyone gets along! Guess that's it! I have a day off tomorrow so I get to sleep in (although I would rather be in Waterloo)!!!

Adam's Birthday Party

Ok so I guess I gotta update more often or I get yelled at! So yesterday was Adam's 24th Birthday (Happy Birthday Adam!). My mom woke Ema and I up at 10am so that Adam could open his gifts. He got PS2 and lego from my parents, a PS2 game and sunglasses from me and Ema and chocolate bars. After that we ate breakfast and then we set out for a nice game of mini golf (Adam, Ema, my dad and I). Well, I won even though I complained the whole time haha! (I swear that I didn't practice in France....even ask Steve!). Then we went to the mall so that Adam could buy a memory card for PS2 and then we all went for lunch to Stokes Inland. yummy! After lunch we set out for a day at the Verikers (cause it was Paul's 50th B-day party) so we spent the afternoon and evening on the beach. I didn't swim but I managed to get some sun and Ema, Briar and I buried Adam in the sand...fun times! At around 6pm Ema and I drove Adam back in town (their house is in Bright's Grove which is 15 mins away) so that he could leave to Waterloo to party and then we went back to get my parents and to eat supper! We got back around 10pm (way past my bedtime) but it was a fun day! Hope you had a good one Adam! Remember my party this year will be in September and the theme is Asia! haha! Briar is invited!

My boring life

Well, let me begin by apologizing for not writing a blog in a few days.  I was working the 6-1 shift for 4 days in a row so I would come home from work and fall asleep on the couch and eventually around 9:30 I would drag my butt to bed.  What an exciting life!  Anyway the family came home on Friday after I got back from work.  They bought me two charms for my bracelet and a pair of shoes.  We had KFC for supper...yummy!  On Saturday I worked early and after that I went for fries under the bridge with my family and then we went shopping for Adam's Birthday gift...they're good ones!  On Sunday I worked early again and after work I went out for lunch with Laura and Jon (who were in town for Laura's mother's 5th wedding) and Mme Kennefick (one of my higshcool teachers).  After that, Laura, Jon, Simon (Laura's cousin) and I went out for fries under the bridge.  In the evening Adam, Ema, Mom and I watched Starsky and Hutch.  Today I slept a bit...finally and then I watched Dawson.  Steve called at 12 and we talked for a while.  (Malaysia in 9 days!!!).  After that I showered and ate and went to the dentist....ouch!  This late afternoon/early evening I went to the mall with Adam, Mom, Ema and her friend Elyse.  We shopped for a while and then we came home ate hot dogs, watched a movie and went for ice cream.  Now, I am off to bed shortly cause I work at 7:30am tomorrow.  One week of work left!!!

Allison is not here to punch me!

I thought I would blog a little earlier in the day cause otherwise I get too tired to blog in the evening.  So not a whole lot is new here.  Yesterday I had a day off so I slept for a while and then I went to the bank to get cheques and to Zellers to get suntan lotion and DVD cases.  After that I went to Walmart to copy some pictures.  In the evening I lay around and watched TV (Josh was on Canadian Idol....go Josh go).  I went to bed at 10pm.  Today I worked at 6am until 1pm and I have that same shift for the next three days (4 in row...ahhh!).  After work I went to get the Typhoid needle (recommended for Asia) and unfortunately Allison is not here to punch me in the arm like she did after my Hepatitis A needle....so sad!  Tonight I am going to bed early again cause I am an old working woman.  That's it!

I got nothing

Ok well yesterday I was in bed reading at 9:30pm.  Today I got up at 5, worked from 6am-12pm.  I walked home.   Once I got home I watched TV and napped and then I ate supper, showered and now I am waiting for the grandparents to show up.  Wow what excitement!

Why does Snoop carry an umbrella? Fo Drizzle! haha!

Well today had its ups and downs.  First, I had to wake up at 6:20 to drive my dad to work.  After that I came home and tried to sleep again but I couldn't.  So, I showered and then I went to the dentist at 10am.  I thought it would be to fix a cavity but because my one tooth has been bothering me, they did a root canal...ouch!  So now I have antibiotics and Tylenol 3s that I have to take every 6 hours.  I have to go back for two more appointments to get this thing done.  Once I got back, I did a load of laundry and talked to Steve on the phone...yay!  Then I went to the pharmacy to get my drugs, came home, watched TV and went to pick my dad up from work.  Once we got back we ate (KFC) and we watched TV again!  The lady called about the townhouse I saw in London....so guess what....I have a place for September 1st.  That's all for now!  Oh and the grandparents are coming tomorrow night instead of in the morning!  Guess what the ups and downs are? haha!

Sarnia is so boring

Today Mom, Adam and Ema left for Montreal while I slept cause I worked last night until 2am and they left this morning at 6:30am.  So now it's just me and my dad.  I got up around 10:30 and I watched one of Tali's movies (don't remember the name).  I ate lunch and got ready for work and then I walked to Timmys!  I worked from 2-10pm.  My dad picked me up after work and then we watched 'The Osbournes' together and now he is in bed and I am going to bed cause I have to drive him to work tomorrow (at 6:20am) so that I can go to the dentist at 10 am.  I might suntan in the afternoon but I am not sure yet...it all depends on the weather.  Guess that's it!  Party at my place!

Save me!

Today has been a useless day.  I got up around 11 (no Dawson's Creek today cause it's Saturday) and my mom made pancakes...yummy!  After that, I showered and my mom and I went to Sport Check to find me a bikini.  That was depressing!  I bought one but I don't think that I will ever wear it.  Once I got home, I ate lunch and watched 'The Haunted Mansion' and now I am just sitting around.  I start work at 8pm and I work until 2am cause it's Bayfest right now and everyone goes to Tim Hortons after the concerts so it should be busy! 
My mom, Adam and Ema leave for Montreal tomorrow morning (really early) and my dad and I have to work (I have to walk to work!!).  My dad leaves on Wednesday and the entire family comes back to Sarnia on Friday.  So I will be home alone for a few days!  Come over and party!  Except on Tuesday night when my psycho grandparents are coming to pick up my dad.  I'm still trying to find a way out of that one!  Unfortunately they know that I am here and they are coming early on Tuesday (when my dad is at work) so I have to entertain.  Any ideas?

Woo woo!

Nothing all that exciting happened today.  I woke up at 10 for Dawson's Creek.  After that I got ready and went to work.   I worked from 1:30-9 and I handed in my resignation letter!  Once I got home I watched Rat Race and 50 First Dates and now I am off to bed.  What a happy day!  Tomorrow I don't work until 8pm so I think I may go buy a bathing suit for Malaysia and that's about it!  It's Bayfest this weekend but I haven't gone and I don't intend on going to any of the concerts (it's not a good lign up this year).  Guess that's it!

Finally graduating!

Today has been quite an eventful day off. I woke up in time for dashing Creek and watched both episodes. Steve called here at noon so I talked to him for an hour. After that I took a shower and got dressed and went outside (to the garage) to re-pack all of my stuff. My mom and I separated all of the things that I am taking to London, leaving here and throwing out. Fun eh!?! Now I am going to eat something and then I am going to be lazy for the rest of the day.
Also I checked yesterday on the internet and everything has been approved for my graduation. All of my credits from France went through so you guys....Keep October 29th open for me! haha!

It's official

Well, today I got my plane ticket to Malaysia! So, I am off on August 5th until August 30th. Therefore if you guys wanna see....COME AND VISIT!
Ok so as you can guess I went to London today (with my mom, Adam and Ema). We went to see two apartments (one with Lucas and one with Lisa) and well.....that didn't go as expected. After that I went to the travel agency and got my plane ticket. I have to change over in San Francisco and Taipei, Taiwan on the way there and then Taipei, Taiwan and Los Angeles on the way back (I fly out of Detroit and back to Detroit). Fun times! Other than that, my life has not been all that exciting. Just working hard here in Sarnia at Timmys and sleeping lots haha! Well, I am off to eat and watch some reality tv tonight, as usual!!!

All that Jazz

What a day! Today I woke up at 5am to get ready for work. I worked 6-12noon and then just as I was almost done my shift a girl called in sick. Today is also Danielle's wedding day (she works at Timmys too) and no one could cover for the afternoon shift so I went home at 12, ate lunch, went to the bank to get a loan and went back to work from 2-7pm. What a fun day! Once I got home for the evening, Ema, mom and I watched 'Chicago' and now I am so exhausted that I am off to bed!

We ordered you a diet coke.....JINX

Today was quite a weird day. Adam was asked to go to Toronto for a wedding earlier in the week so he was suppose to drive down to Toronto at 12noon or sometime around then. Anyway, I on the other hand wanted to go to London to get my plane ticket to Malaysia and to look for apartments. To make a long story short, only the van can go on the highway (cause the car is almost dead) so my dad was suppose to get a ride to work with my mom, then she and I were going to go to London in the morning and Adam was to leave to Toronto in the afternoon. Well, my dad got called in to work at 2am and took the van to work by accident (not knowing the plans)! So, he got back at 11am and then my mom and I went to London just to get my plane ticket (cause we heard that the spots are filling up fast). Well, we got to Travel Cuts around noon and we sat there for a bit and the lady couldn't find any flights in August (the way back is full) so she said leave it with her and she will try to find something. So my mom and I drove back! When we got back, Adam was all mad and he left right away! Anyway we (Ema, mom, dad and I) ended up going to the States this afternoon to shop (I got paid) and then the four of us went to Swiss Chalet for supper at 8pm (we shopped all afternoon and evening and we forgot to eat!). So now I was just watching Big Fish but I am going to go to bed cause I have to be up at 5am tomorrow morning for work! Conclusion: I don't have an apartment but I may possibly have a flight ticket to Malaysia (from Detroit)! It's fun to shop in the States and Swiss Chalet is yummy!

I survived a Sarnia club!

Ok so last night ended up being quite fun. I met Danielle at River Rock and 8 of her friends were there (all girls) so it kinda ended up like a bachelorette party for her (she is getting married on Saturday). So anyway we stuck around there for a while. Laura and Paul (only boy) from Tim Hortons showed up too. Once Danielle was drunk we went to The Station (one of Sarnia's finest clubs....haha). Anyway there were so many skanky girls there and I saw all of Tali's friends there too(they don't check id's there) and I did see lots of mullets. Fun times! Today I got up at 9:55am to watch Dawson's Creek (so sad!) and then I went out for lunch with Ema and we went to the piercing place to get my tragus piercing taken out. I just finished some paperwork for Western (my tuition bill came in....ouch!) and now I am going to go and re-pack my boxes of stuff in the garage (my mom has been trying to get me to do this since I got back from France!). Wish me luck!

Normal Day

Well, today was a normal day for me. I woke up at 9:55am to watch Dawson's Creek...like usual. Then I got ready for work and worked from 1:30-7:30. It actually went by really fast so that's good! Now, I am getting ready to go out with Danielle and Laura (two gals from Tim Hortons). We are only going at 11pm (to River Rock) and I am tired already...so I'll let you all know how it goes!

I'll have plenty of time to sleep when I'm dead

Does everyone in Sarnia other than my family go to Tim Hortons EVERY morning? I think so! Some of the regulars are really grumpy and mean! Anyway I worked from 6:30-9:30am (what a waste of my day). It wasn't that busy but it's dumb cause there were like 10 of us working so I shouldn't have even bothered going in! I got home around 9:45 and Ema left to go and tutor little Mitch. Then, I watched Dawson and then Steve called. After our conversation I showered and Ema and I went to the mall. I bought a link for my bracelet! We also went to the piercing place to get my tragus piercing taken out but the guy was busy doing a tattoo so I have to go back soon! Guess that's it so far. Tonight 'Big Brother 5' and 'Amazing Race 4' are on so the night will be spent watching reality tv. Last night Ema and I watched 'For love or Money' and 'Who wants to Marry my Dad'. Good times! Reality tv rocks!

What a good ending to a crappy day

My day started off crappy cause I worked from 7am-3pm and it went by sooooo slow. I hate all of the full timers cause they are so annoying and bitchy! I wish I was on night shifts. Anyway, my legs are dead, my body is dead and I am getting tired of waking up at 5:30 or 6am cause it's way too early! Tomorrow is my last day shift for a few days so I am happy about that! Plus it's a short one so I will make it home in time for Dawson's Creek! And I only have 2 shifts left until 2 days off!! YAY! Anyway my day got better once my shift was over. First of all I made like $10 in tips so that was good. And when I got home I had a package waiting for me. Adam was at the door holding it once he saw us pull in the driveway (my mom drove and picked me up today) so I opened it right away. Lots of dvds and souvenirs from Malaysia! I am so happy! Thanks Steve!!!! Anyway I just ate a hamburger and now I am off to take it easy cause I am tired and I have to get up early again tomorrow. Grrrr!

Odds 80 to 1

Ok so Greece won. I am not mad or anything cause they scored and it was fair and everything but the odds were 80 to 1 in favour for Portugal. How do the underdogs do it? And did you guys see that crazy fan who ran through the field....pretty funny! I wanna be just like him when I grow up! And did you see those poor suckers from Canada who went to Portugal for the final to support Portugal? That was a waste of money! haha! Anyway I picked up Ema and her friend Bethany from the mall right after the game and Ema bought me a charm for my bracelet. What a good sister!

What a life!

I know the day is not over but I just thought I should update you all on my exciting life. So, I was up at 6:30am and went to work for 7:30. It was a long day and it felt like I never left cause I worked until 9:30pm last night. (4 out of 7 in a row done!) I actually saw someone famous (my friend from higschool, Jen, her dad) Mr. Nelson who is the police chief in Sarnia and was in the movie 'Bowling for Columbine'. We talked for a bit cause I asked him how Jen was doing and stuff. And due to the fact that I am 'pretending' to be staying at Tim Hortons forever, I had to tell him that I don't know what I am doing in the fall. So now he will go home and tell Jen that I am a bum! Yay! See I do see famous people sometimes (I wish I would have seen Josh from Canadian Idol...grrrr!). Anyway other than that it was a normal day. I am off to watch Euro Cup 2004 (which has just started). GO PORTUGAL

Waste of a day

Well, what can I say about today.....I woke up at 10:45 and had pancakes and then I watched tv (there is nothing good on tv on Saturdays...no Dawson's Creek!!!). Anyway Adam flicked through the stations and I chose to watch the movie 'It takes two' with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. What a fun movie! Anyway I didn't get to watch the whole thing cause it started at noon and I had to work at 1:30 (don't worry, we have it on tape!). So I worked from 1:30-9:30pm today and I am more than exhausted. There was only 3 of us on after 5pm so we had to work hard. I can barely walk cause the bottoms of my feet kill. And now I have to go to bed cause I work at 7:30am tomorrow morning (3 morning shifts in a row..ahhhh!). What an exciting life I lead!!! I should just move into Tim Hortons since I practically live there. Peace out!

Today was an ok day. I worked 7am-2:30pm so I ended up being exhausted all day! My dad was awake at 6am with me so I had some company in the morning. When I got home, I watched one episode of Dawson's Creek that Adam taped for me! (Thanks Ad) After that mom and I went shopping (to Dollarama, the mall and we ended at Walmart). Fun times! Then I came home and fell asleep for a bit and then I watched the second episode of Dawson's Creek that Adam taped for me (Thanks Ad). After that Adam and I rented 'Secret Window' from Rogers Video! What a weird movie! Now I am off to bed cause I am tired and I work again tomorrow (day 3 of 7...in a row). Goodnight!

I did end up going fireworks! Once again another great display of Sarnia's finest fireworks ($35 000 worth, says the Sarnia Observer). The little concert before was funny too cause they are always sing songs that everyone knows! Anyway I am off to bed just wanted to let you all know that I went and I had a fun time and I got cotton candy and pepsi! YAY!

Happy Canada Day!

Ok, well today is Canada Day and Sarnia loves to celebrate it...we have a parade and fireworks. Anyway I worked from 9:30-4 today so I missed the parade and guess what...Josh Seller (the first finalist for Canadian Idol) from Brigden, Ontario (15 minutes from Sarnia) was in the parade and I missed it!! I am the only Canadian Idol fan in this family and everyone else got to see him...boohoo!!! What a shame! It was super busy all morning and they stuck me in the drive-thru so I was sweating up a storm. Don't worry...I taped Dawson's Creek and watched it after work! Can't miss that show...I am addicted! I need help! Also today was the semi-finals Greece vs Czech Republic of Euro Cup 2004 and stupid Greece won! I wanted the Czechs to win! Another boohoo to that! Let's just hope Portugal pulls through on Sunday for the final!!!!!! Anyway other than that, I had shish-kebobs with the family and the neighbours for supper and now I am debating whether or not I should go to the fireworks cause they start at 10pm and I work at 7am tomorrow morning...what should I do?
