Do you guys like the new colour I've chosen for my blog?

It was starting to bother me that Allison's blog looks exactly like mine (she copied me) so being the nice person that I am....I changed mine! Plus green is my favourite colour so it works for me!

Did someone lose a stack of twenties wrapped up in a rubber band? Cause I found the rubber band!

Today I woke up at 9:50 (in time for Dawson's Creek). At 11am I went to the Health Unit to get my Tuberculosis test checked (I passed!!! TB FREE!!). After that I came home, showered, talked to Steve and then I ate lunch. At 3:45 Adam, Ema and I went to see Spider-man 2 (better than the first!). At around 6:30 we all went to Crabby Joe's for supper....yummy! After that we went to Zellers (my mom bought me two pairs of sunglasses) and then we went to Zehrs. Some good family fun!

What a long day! I got up at 9:50 to watch Dawson's Creek, so I did! I had to watch with my dad cause Ema was sleeping and Adam was in London for his RCMP interview. So anyway after Dawson's Creek I got ready for work (1:30-8:30): I ate lunch, got dressed and went to the gas station to get gas. I got to work and like usual had no idea what I was doing...but for some reason the shift went by quite quickly. Mom and Ema dropped by to tell me that Adam passed the interview!! Now he has to wait 4 months for a background check and then he flies out to Regina, Saskatchewan for 26 weeks of training! Congrats Adam!!!! When I got home I went over to my neighbour's house to show her my pictures of Europe cause Andrea (the 17 year old) is going to Paris in 10 days so she wanted to hear some stories. After that I ate some cookies and that's it! Fun times!

Am I boring......no! You fail!!!!

I got up at 9:30 today cause I had to be at the health unit for 11am (also cause I wanted to see the first episode of Dawson's Creek haha!). Anyway I got my tuberculosis shot which is kinda funny cause it makes a big bubble under your skin but it eventually goes down...they have to read the results on Wednesday but so far it looks good. Other than that, the rest of my day was normal...lots of tv but this time I watched tv with my dad cause Ema went out with her 'real' friends (why don't I have any friends???). I also fell asleep on the couch for a while...so that got rid of some of the boring day for me! Ema came home at around 9 and she didn't buy me anything, boohoo, but she watched "For Love or Money" and "Who wants to marry my dad?" with me so I was happy and grateful! (reality tv shows rock!). Now I can't get onto my msn cause it won't let me and my mom is on the computer downstairs so I am sitting in Ema's room typing this blog while she is watching Joe Schmo 2 (cheater!!!). Night!

And they lived happily ever after......what?

Today I woke up at around 10:30am mainly because I heard Adam and mom come home from the bridge run and that woke me up. I was not that mad cause I got to have a bacon sandwich for breakfast. Anyway, Ema and I went to the mall today and I bought a bracelet (I know that I have no money so don't yell cause my dad gave me $20 so I bought it with that!!!). I also bought a movie called 'Say it isn't so' for $9.00 at good old Wal-Mart with my first Tim Hortons paycheque so there goes all of my money haha!!! So, Ema and I watched that in the afternoon. After supper we actually went out to the movie theater to see 'The Notebook' with Ryan Gosling...sooooo good!!! See, we do get out once in a while! Guess that's it!

Maika, PRINcess of Genovia!

So, last night ended well. Ema and I rented Eurotrip and bought Mcflurries for us and Adam. We got back and watched that (Adam too) and then we started watching Spiderman. Today I slept until noon. I must admit that I had a weird dream of being stuck in Rome and I couldn't speak Italian and I had no money...it was crazy!! Shouldn't watch Eurotrip before bed!! Anyway, at around 2pm we all went to Giant Tiger but then we all got in a fight (well, Mom, me and Dad) so the fun filled day ended there. Once we got back Ema, Adam and I watched the end of Spiderman and we ate supper. After that we (the kids) went to Dairy Queen came home and Ema and I watched Josie and the Pussycats and Princess Diaries! Fun times! So far all that I have done this weekend is watch movies! Adam is doing the bridge run tomorrow at 7am (a group of people get a ride over to the States and run over the bridge and back to Canatara Park...I guess it's a race too), so he has to be up early and that's why he didn't watch movies with us tonight (maybe also cause we picked really 'girlie' movies too!!!). Anyway other than that, Tali called today and said that there are flight tickets on sale tonight at 2am for $1 (you have to pay the taxes) for anywhere in Canada so Ema and I are going to get up at 2 to check it out! So I am off to nap now cause I gotta be up in an hour and a half!

Well, today seems to be the longest day of my life...maybe cause I was up at 5am! (Got to see my dad bright and early) There actually is life at that time and believe it or not Tim Hortons was super busy from the second I walked in at 6am to the second I left at 10:50am. What a nightmare! It was my first official shift on my own (cause so far I've only been training) and I must say, I only messed up huge three times! haha! Also to make the day even better...I saw so many people that I knew back in highschool along with my French teacher (who is now waiting for me to call cause we are 'going out for lunch', and who kissed me and yelled when she saw me (thanks Laura Simon!!!)). Anyway after work, I came home and watched Dawson's Creek and then I feel asleep. I slept for about an hour and then spent the rest of the afternoon watching Joe Schmo (thanks Adam and Ema for buying that!!!). Danielle (from Tim Hortons) called me to tell me that my pay cheque was at Timmys and that she forgot to tell me when I was there so Adam drove me over to get it! We had a very good supper today: Poutine and Smoked meat sandwiches (I was not too fond of the smoked meat but the poutine rocked). That's about it for my day! Gotta get to bed soon cause I am exhausted!

What is going on here?

There I said it Adam and Ema!!! The title is for you guys! Anyway today was pretty boring. I stayed up late last night watching all the shows Ema taped and I also watched the first episode of Joe Schmo so I set my alarm for 9:55 (to make it in time for Dawson's Creek) but the dentist phoned at 9am to remind us that my dad has an appointment tomorrow (is that really necessary? It's already marked on the calender!!). Anyway so I lay in bed and finally got up at 10 for Dawson's Creek. Watched two episodes of that and then I took a shower and then Steve called from Malaysia! While on the phone a delivery woman came to the door with a dozen red roses for me from Steve (Thanks!!!). I was and still am very happy! They look very nice in my room. Anyway then I ate lunch, ironed my uniform and went to work. I was learning how to bake the donuts....pretty fun I guess! Then I came back, ate some A&W (Oh Ema that drive-thru sucked eh?!) and now it's 9pm and I am getting ready for bed cause I have to work at 6am (Is there life at that time??). Peace out!

Today was quite eventful for once. I got up at 9:30, watched Dawson's Creek (I'll admit that I am hooked) and then I went to the doctor's for a check-up. He is sending me to an allergist and to the hospital to get a mole burnt off (I know that's gross Adam!! but does that sounds normal to anyone??). Anyway that's that! I then came home watched the second episode of Dawson's Creek (there are two on each day...thanks Adam for taping it!) and then Adam, Ema, Elyse (Ema's friend) and I went for a little drive. Adam dropped off his resume at some gardening place, then we went to Wendy's for lunch and then we went to the Ministry of Health so that Adam could get a new Health Card. After that we went to the mall so that Ema could buy Joe Schmo (Adam paid for it but Ema is 'suppose' to pay him back). After that I got ready for work while the others started watching Joe Schmo and then I worked 4-10:15pm. I ended up staying late cause they needed help...it was madness today. Also I was training in drive-thru and I can honestly say that it did not stop all night! Anyway I am exhausted now and I just watched Canadian Idol and Simple Life 2 (Thanks Ema for taping that for me!) and now I am going to go and watch Newlyweds (Thanks again Ema) and then I am off to bed. My boss added some more shifts for me this week although I was MORE than happy to just finish training this week but now I work tomorrow(Thursday) from 4-7:30pm (not so bad) but I also work Friday from 6:00am-10:30am (way too early for me!!!). That's it!

The mouse was gone and so was the cheese (but there was fur in the trap), what a smart mouse!

Yesterday was ok. My mom drove the van home at lunch so that I could have it for the afternoon. Ema and I went on a lunch date to New York Fries for some poutines and since we were at the mall we decided to shop for a bit. I was trying to find a Birthday present for my friend Celia from Ireland. Nothing for myself since I don't have any money! Then we went to the 'Hair Professionals' to see if they can straighten Ema's hair and the crazy lady that works there, Grace, decided to do a test piece so we were there for about 40 mins. After that we went to pick up my mom from High Park school and we watched the delinquants play until my mom finally showed up. One kid tried to break the sign that says 'no parking' so Ema and I watched to see if he would get yelled at...we actually thought that my mom would come out and scream but someone got to him before she did! What a rebel! Then we drove back home, ate supper and then Ema and I went to take some pictures of Sarnia for Steve (sorry I don't know how to put accents on your name with this program) and that finished my roll so we took another trip to the mall to develop my pics. Fun times! We actually went back to the mall a third time to pick up the pictures! That's what we do in Sarnia for fun. Anyway, today I got up at 9:30, showered and watched Dawson's Creek. My mom came back at lunch to drive the van home for me and I drove her back and went to the dentist. So now I am frozen all the way up to my eye...my gums hurt and I can't eat! I have to work at 4 so hopefully I unfreeze by then! What an eventful life I live!

Who doesn't love beef?

Ok so I'll take it from Friday...I went to work from 4-10 and Clint didn't show up again (I think he's going to be fired). Adam came and picked me up from work and once we got home we decided to watch a movie cause my parents were gone to the Sunoco Pin Awards (my dad's 30th year at Sunoco) so Ema suggested Pirates of the Carribean (but she didn't stay up to watch it cause she had two exams on Friday so she was tired...yay Ema is done school now so she can play with me!). Anyway the movie lasted forever and I finally went to bed at 2am (my party animal parents were still not home!!!). I got up at 9am on Saturday to get ready for a weekend in Waterloo!! Adam and I set out for Waterloo around 10:30 and made it there in two hours. Allison was waiting for me at her house/hotel haha! So we went to the mall and to the new wholesale store and then we got ready for Tony's party! Happy Birthday Tony! We dropped the cake and presents off at his house and Allison's dad drove us to McMullen's (thanks for the drink Drew...Tyler's a biatch). One of Tony's friends, Chad, drank 4 tequilla shots and he snorted the salt and squirted the lemon into his eye...crazy!!! He's a weird gothic boy who drinks blood for fun so it didn't surprise anyone! There was about 15-20 people there (I didn't know them all). Then we moved on to....Phil's! More people showed up there. It got crazy cause everyone was drunk already and nobody could keep track of anything or anyone. Tony kept getting free drinks all night! He puked at 11:30 so Allison left with him and I stayed with Brad, Andrew and Nikki. Anyway long story short, nobody remembered to check and see where I was and I was suppose to go back to Tony's so I ended up getting a cab there with Chad (the gothic boy) since he was the only person that I could find. Let's just say...if you dance, they forget you. I woke up today and didn't feel that well...so I ate a cheeseburger (thanks Tony). Adam and I left around 12:30 so that we could be back in Sarnia with our Father on Father's day. Overall I had a great weekend. Happy Father's Day Daddy!

Sarnia is the Trailor Trash Capital of the World!

Another day of work done! I am quite tired tonight cause it's my second night of being on my feet for six hours straight and after having a year off from work while in France, I must admit that it's hard to get back into the groove! Tonight we were short staffed so they put me on the front cash and I had to take orders without even knowing what half the buttons meant..luckily people were quite understanding though cause nobody yelled..they mostly just laughed! I also noticed tonight that Sarnia really does have a lot of trailor trash. I once heard Sarnia described as 'one big trailor park' and now I am starting to believe it. A lot of people here don't have teeth, have 5 or more kids, are on welfare and wear dirty clothes. These people tend to never have enough money for what they order and count their pennies when paying..grrrr! Also someone I know came in today (I won't mention her name) and her daughter who I baby-sat a while ago is on welfare and is a college drop out! I didn't think that anyone could fail out of Lambton College but apparently she dropped out before exams because she wasn't doing well! Oh well! Other than that I had a normal day! I woke up at 11 and then I watched Auberge Espagnole (a movie I ordered on Ebay from France (aka The Spanish Apartment in English)) and then I sat around and then I went to work. Good times! I guess the only news is that today I woke up with a bruise on my face...I think I hit my night table in my sleep and anyway it looks like I got beaten up bad! It just adds to the trailor park look of Sarnia!

Donut of the month = Strawberry Fritter

Did you know that a pot of coffee is only good for 25 minutes? Or that a donut can stay in the holding unit for 8 hours but cookies can stay for 24 hours? Well, I do now along with many other useless facts about Tim Hortons. Today I had my first training shift on the sales floor at Tim Hortons along with my good friend Clint! The girl who trained us (Laura D) was super funny but she knows way too much stuff for her own good! Anyway the shift went pretty fast. I got a free donut..yummy! Unfortunately my tooth still hurts so I couldn't stop thinking about that...I guess I will have go back to the dentist soon! Guess that's it cause now I am sitting at home, just ate Wendy's (soooo good!) and I am going to watch the three shows that Ema and Adam taped for me while I was at work! Yay!

Time to make the donuts!

So, my first day of work was yesterday...an orientation shift. As you all know those are the most boring things ever. I filled out a hundred papers and watched 2 hours worth of videos on: 'keeping things fresh', 'uniform policies', 'safety' and 'how to deal with robbery'...fun times! I guess I am going to be a cashier but I also have to make the donuts..yes!! Last night I watched Joe Schmo 2 (reality television show where 2 people are living in a house with other people..like big brother but the main characters don't know that the other people are actors and everything is fake...kinda mean) but it was sorta funny. I didn't get to see Joe Schmo 1 cause I was in France so I will watch this one! Today I actually start working on the sales floor at Timmys but I am still 'in training' for 5 shifts. Actually there is another kid training with me, some punk teenager named Clint..We're gonna be best friends..I know it! Other than that Canadian Idol is on tonight, Simple Life 2 starts tonight with Paris and Nicole, and Newlyweds 2 with Jessica and Nick starts tonight too. I will be taping those!

What a week!

Last week ended well..I got a job at Tim Hortons and got my tooth fixed that I broke in France like 8 months ago...finally! I also ended up going to Waterloo. Fun times! Thanks for the ride Adam!! Got to see the Zellers gang, haha! Although there was some fighting this weekend (no worries..I am not mad Allison! Sorry I didn't make it to Monika's house party Cathy) I still had fun and I am planning on going back next weekend for Tony's Birthday (that's if Timmy's gives me the weekend off). I also got to see Josh in the hospital on Saturday with Brad which was good cause I was worried and wondering how he is doing (Josh is doing well and we are still waiting for more news on Teresa). Brad bought me a Pez dispenser cause I made him feel guilty. Goofy rocks! Next time I want Snoopy!

It's my Badonkadunk

Ha! Ok so how funny is WB Superstar? haha! Oh JoJo you will be missed. For all those who don't know this show...it's like American Idol, only they pick the worst singers! (the singers don't know that they suck...and boy are they ever horrible!) Anyway today I didn't do much. I walked down to High Park School to get the van in the pouring rain...then I went to my job interview and then I spent the rest of the afternoon playing chaffeur (picked up Ema and my mom and went to the grocery store with them). In the evening I watched Superstar and Canadian Idol (go Josh). I might go to Waterloo tomorrow...we'll see!

Sheets of Egyptian Cotton

Well, the last two days have been pretty boring. I didn't do much yesterday during the day but in the evening Ema, mom and I went to see Harry Potter 3. It was pretty good but I agree with Ema that it is not he best one! Then I watched Old School with Adam on DVD and I stayed up late talking on msn which made me sleep until noon today. So today I did nothing but watch tv and movies (I'm catching up on a year of television and movies that I missed while away). Actually I woke up to the sound of some guy hammering...he was putting on the shingles on our new awning. Grrr! But it was 11:45 so I can't really complain! After supper Ema, Adam and I went for ice cream to Ice Cream Galore (where Tali use to work - we miss you Tali!) and tonight I am going to watch more tv. What an exciting life! Tomorrow is my second interview at Tim Horton's but I am thinking of applying for other jobs after that. Fun times!

Online Journal

Ok so I decided to start this online journal so that all of my friends around the world can get news and updates of my boring life! Fun! To begin I have to say that I mostly created this for Rachael (I miss you Rach!) cause she wanted to hear about my summer but anyone is welcome to post comments at anytime...please keep it clean guys...my family can go on here too!!!
