1 more day!

So it's Monday night (11pm) and our suitcases are packed waiting to be taken back to Canada. We are off to our apartment tomorrow with Stève's parents to clean and to hand the keys in. Then Wednesday we fly out at 12noon for CANADA!
It's been over 15 months since I've been home and I really can't wait to be back. The 2 years in Paris were extremely fun and I will definitely miss it here but I do need to see my family and friends again.
Anyway, Happy Belated Birthday Adam! I hope you had a great time in Mexico!
Can't wait for DQ Ema! I'm still only on chapter 10 of Harry cause I am saving it for the plane!

13 days....

Well, Stève and I are slowly starting to realize that we are leaving Paris. Two weeks left and we're on our way to start a new adventure in Canada. We've been busy doing all the last minute things that we have left to do.

Tonight we're going for dinner with Anh, Susanne, Jean and Pam (the BTL gang) for the last time. Tomorrow night we'll be eating with Emily for the last time and Saturday we'll be seeing Stève's IFI friends for the last time. Ahh! soooo sad....

We are also spending a lot of time with Stève's family. I am currently sitting in Bougival (we slept over last night).

I guess that's all the news for now.

I'm back from Germany. Had a blast with Cathy! My pictures are up on facebook.

We don't have internet at our place anymore (I am currently using the neighbour's connection) and we don't have the phone either - they cut us off early by accident...boohoo!

Other than that, I am on holiday. My last few days of school were hellish cause the kids were super excited. Fortunately the weather was crap so they we didn't suffer from the heat which would have made the kids even more annoying.

That brings me to now. We have 21 days left in Europe. Three of which will be spent in Florence, Italy (July 27-29) and the rest of them in France. Steve and I have tons to do still and Steve only finishes work this Friday so we'll have to rush everything. Unfortunately, the weather is crap (yes, we were fortunate about that for the end of school...see above paragraph) so we can't really enjoy the summer in Paris. We wanted to spend our evenings in cafes and also take lots of pictures but it's usually rainy and horrible during the days and the highest we get is about 17C. grr!

Wie Geht's?

So, I'm in Germany visiting Cathy. We are having lots of fun...... walking, sightseeing, picture taking, catching up, etc.

I don't know if many people know that I blog again but it's sad that hardly anybody commented on my previous blog...which is why I am keeping this short to see if anyone reads this.

Guess who's back...back again...

Welcome back (to me)! I'm sorry that I stopped blogging but I refused to get a gmail account and so I couldn't blog anymore, however, Steve got one this week because of work related purposes and said that I could use his gmail for my blog! yay!

So, what's happened since Prague? Emily and Guy got married in March and I went to the wedding in Toulouse. Then in April, I went to London, Oxford and Windsor with my grade 4s. After England, I went directly to Greece to meet up with Cathy for a week. We had a blast. In May, Steve celebrated his 27th B-day and the following weekend we went to Ireland with an Irish friend. It was awesome. Next week I am off to Germany to visit Cathy for 4 days and I can't wait. So there's all the travel info.

I have three days of school left (but 5 days of work... I work 2 days next week to pack my classes up) and I am super sad. I've grown way too attached ot the kids. I think I may cry all day on Friday. I still haven't given my notice so not many know that I am leaving but I want to make sure that I get paid over the summer so I am waiting to give it in.

Other than that, Steve and I are getting ready to go back. We've mailed 3 packages of crap to Canada and have about 2 or 3 more to send. We've had 2 visits for the apartment. We are trying to fit a lot in before we go but Steve works until July 14th so we can't do everything.

I guess that's it for the update. If I think of anything else, I will blog again...yay! I love my blog and I'm glad to be back in business!

My holidays

Well, I'm glad that Ema reads my posts cause now I know that I can change my blog without signing up for another account. Thanks Em!!! As you can see, I managed to pass through with the old version again (pretending that I forgot my password) but I will update my blog soon..promise!

Steve and I were in Prague this past weekend. It was loads of fun. We managed to tour the entire city in three days and we saw all the important sights. Our legs were so sore from all the walking so I guess that's also a sign that we saw everything (or that we are in bad shape...). I'm going to try to post a picture of Prague in this post...




Anyway I'm still on holiday this week so I'm trying not to be lazy and to get some work done...but it's not really working that well! We're going to Jeremie's goodbye party this weekend...he's off to California to work for google for six months.

I'm on holiday! YAY!

Well I survived my last day and now I am off for two weeks. What am I going to do with myself? This weekend is Anh's Birthday (Happy Birthday Anh) so we are having a party for her onSaturday and on Sunday night it's Kelda's concert (my vice principal). Steve and I are going to Prague from the 23-25 for a weekend getaway...should be fun. Other than that, I am going to clean, lesson plan, organize and bake...fun times! I love vacation time!

P.S. This damn blogger wants me to update my blog but I have to sign up for a google account. I already have two hotmail accounts and a yahoo account so I don't want another one. I keep pretending that I forgot my password and then it sends it to me via hotmail and it takes me to the home page so that I can blog but I don't know if I can keep that up for much longer.
I refuse to change.....why change something that is good????
